Siam Ruby: FOUND
After looking all over the web for these It seem like everyone was sold out or wanted a crazy amount of money for a small plant. I called a few local garden places and found a place that had a few hiding in the back. I got lucky and found them in smaller pots with about 3 pups and the main plant in each container and picked up 2 for a really great deal considering they sold their plants by the size of the container not by how many are in there. I would have picked up the last 2 containers if I knew 100% I would not have any issues growing them but since this is my first time growing this type of banana I passed on the remaining plants. Wish me luck!
PS: I cut most of the leaves off when I got home with them. Even when you try your best to not tear them up on the way home you seem to almost kill them lol I will let them recover and plant them this weekend I hope [IMG][/IMG] Last edited by RWalleyTX : 06-03-2014 at 10:27 PM. |
