Default Should I harvest

I have a bunch hanging since July. We are expecting to get freezing temps for a few hours later this week. The bottom fruits are full but most still have sharp edges. Should I cut em down or let em hang w maybe a plastic bag over bunch? I don’t think it will freeze for long will be mid 50s next day. I’m assuming it’s over and cut em down but just this week w hi temps in the 50s another bunch started turning yellow. Thanks

As long as it is above freezing, let them be. When it gets close to freezing or below there are two choices: 1) cut them and hang them in an above freezing space or 2) find a way to keep them above freezing on the plant with by adding heat. If you don't keep the whole plant warm, you will only get a couple/few extra days before you would have to pick them, anyway. You are basically at 6 months from flowering so odds are that they will be fine if picked.
