Yeah, I do actually have gophers here, but my cat should take care of that hopefully.

Thanks for the help with this. If I didn't have such bad back pain, I would dig out the corms myself, but it is just not possible.

Does the application of the Roundup eventually allow the corm and roots to be pulled out of the soil fairly easily, or does the plant material just decompose? Not that it matters really, but these were fairly large mats, and I'd like to plant something else there eventually.

If it was a semi-raised bed I'd say a lawnmower works.. my x did that with the banana-field. I did have to do extensive repairs to the mower however.. :^)

It will die dry up and should be easy to remove
