Shedding Leaves from the Pseudostem
My Cavendish type bananas are starting to shed leaves off the pseudostem. I'm not talking about the typical leaf drop, but where the pseudostem looses considerable mass and the new leaves are starting to look pathetic by comparison. What's missing in the soil to cause this decline. It's starting to show in my Cali Golds. I have sandy soils with lots of compost. Potassium?
