The shelf life could be extended by storing in cool place. Those bananas look very impressive! I bet they taste as good as they look!

This is a good looking bunch. Summer ripened, are you still raving about its taste?

I put them in the frig when fully ripened. Any astringency is gone and the taste is remarkable. Can't compare to supermkt fruit. My wife really likes them and she can be fussy. And the dogs --- I say bananawana and they come flying into the kitchen to chomp.

I hope to get my SH3640 to fruit for me next year. As much as I love my dogs, but there will not be a "bananawana" for my dogs. They already help themselves on my tomatoes, peppers, apricots or apples, but they better stay out of my bananas, especially since I have some dwarfs fruiting for me for the first time this year. Selfish me....
