I had three things scheduled for tomorrow. I bowed out of one them, but unless I can change it I have to go to Molino at 8:00 and leave 10:00 AM for semi-professional reasons. I will stop by my house which is on the way to check on my pups (Canine that is) and then on to the get together.
Save some barbeque for me.

So I did some searching to see if any photos had been posted somewhere besides here. Word of warning: do not search "Passed out banana". Just don't.

Geez, guys, we'll love seeing your unphotoshopped mugs including your bulging bellies after eating 10 bazillion pounds of 'cue and even try not to hate you for all those pups/plant goodies you've been passing around. (And if I get a place here on the East, I'm hosting. A few years ago, I organized 60 member swaps with GW. We did potluck, it always rained and sometimes the police were called to dispatch the nutty plant folks--good times.)

I'm bored--give me a bone.

I'll definitely do my best for the next time. And I might even be able to contribute to the seafood... did I mention I grew up commercial fishing and some of my family still does it.... I didn't? Hmm.

Gotta love a lo boil.

Waiting for pics here too. Considering the truly lousy day I had at work(work-the reason I wasn't at a awesome banana party!), I would greatly have preferred banana talk.

I hugged my non-BlueJava today. It helped a little.

Hehe. I sent someone to get me a true Ice Cream along with a few others; he decided to keep it and the bird of paradise palm meant for me. Turns out that IC is one of those non blues, too. I would have given him pups but he was stingy. Karma!

I'm sure he is busy, seeing to guests, having a good conversation, cleaning up food, putting plants away, having a cold beer...could be any number of things...they will post pics and give us the low down and make us wish we lived closer anytime now...patience

Maybe by then some of them will have gotten home and manage to find enough energy to post pics for ya, but I'm thinking Tomorrow is more likely when we will see a boat load of pics, maybe with commentary even. later for now!

Some pictures are coming. I believe Abnshrek is posting them. I am exhausted. Went to bed at 1:00 am and was up at 4:30 am. I believe we had around 35 people total. Many brought plants and there was some jostling for prime plants. I believe everyone that wanted something pretty much got it. SBL (Skeet brought some Mrs. Holland avocado bud wood and a Citrus forum member brought some seedlings and suddenly we had grafting class with numerous individuals being the receipient of grafted Mrs. Holland Avocados. Considering these cannot be bought that was a pretty good score. Altogether I believe about forty various banana pups changed hands. There were quite a few gingers that traded hands. I am a whipped puppy and there are still dishes to do. More later.

We will be blessed with pics when you ya'll recover and all are home safe.
Go get some much needed sleep...my green envy will maintain a semblance of patience.
Would have loved to been in on the Avocado budwood...my loss, there is always next year!
