Just wanted to share a few pics of Saba flower and nice bunch.
Flowering Saba came out of Rmplmnz Tampa Sabas. Two weeks ago.Attachment 431 Attachment 432 These are today[ATTACH]Attachment 434[/ATTACH] Hopefully they make great Tostones.

My Saba is only 7' at leaf emergence. Long way to go. How tall was yours when the flower popped?
Many sources say it makes the best tostones along with the Hua Moa. I have one of each and can't wait. Next year. Congrats. Looks like it was well fed. Dan |

From where the flower emerged it's only about 12' up and base of trunk is about 39".
It was a transplant out of Chris in Tampa [Rmplmnz]. It's been in the ground about a year now. Was about four feet when I planted it. I'm also looking forward to my Hua Moa to flower. Although the Saba seems to grow a whole lot faster then any of my other musa. I'm sure it's the location. It's right next to where my rain gutters exit. Thanks again. Hector
