Question Reputable Sellers

Good morning,

I just joined and was kind of looking around the site. Is there a basic list of reputable sellers on a post or on the forums? I live in Washington State Zone 8b and looking for a cold hardy dwarf fruiting banana variety. I am such a newbie that terms like Musa does not compute yet. In the little research I have done it looks like Dwarf varieties like Namwah, Orinoco, Cavendish, and Raja Puri (probably spelled wrong), may be options and will be protected and fit my yard space.

I know there are many varieties so can I ask if something else might be a consideration? If someone has a pup for sale that is not too expensive to buy and ship I would definitely be interested.

Thanks All!

talk to the sddarkman619 for plants. the raja puri should be a very good plant for you. it does very well for my winters. i had 4 days in the low 20's at christmas and one that should start fruiting shortly. down side is it take 6 months for the fruit to ripen.

Hey good luck with that. Shipping for decent sized plants is @ least 30 bucks alone now days.. Certainly alot higher than when I 1st arrived here.. lol The last one I shipped was 2 years ago.. The Postal Service sure looses alot of money delivering all the Amazon crap, making it up on us..
