Re: Reliable source for Ae Ae found - finally!
I will. As soon as I get the corm and it grows a good leaf. Then I can verify if it is a true Ae Ae.:08:
Nothing ventured nothing gained!!! If I get another "Florida" I'll have a fit. |

The previous Ae Ae you had did it turn out to be a Florida, is it the same one in your Avatar. |
Re: Reliable source for Ae Ae found - finally!
Ooh, that's a very nice looking variety. Can't wait to see if it works out!

Re: Reliable source for Ae Ae found - finally!
Finally a reliable source, but won't share info because doesn't know if they are reliable. Ummmmmmm

Re: Reliable source for Ae Ae found - finally!
Ok --- the first source --- turned out they offer the Florida variety. Which I consider not a true Ae Ae. The varigation lines do not radiate at 90 degrees from the leaf stem. I grew this one already and the fruit aren't as good as the true Ae Ae. So the search continues!!!:08:

Re: Reliable source for Ae Ae found - finally!
Found another source. Money sent. Waiting patiently...….
About the Florida variety ---it's pretty, fruit tastes nice but I consider it not a true Ae Ae. The last time I got one it came from PR Giants. These days he is so busy making money I can't get him to respond. Maybe this post might work. lol :drum: |

Hi everyone I'm in the uk and I've just purchased a musa Aeae. It's growing very slow so I'm thinking it could be to cold. Anyone know what the best soil and air temperature I should be trying for please?
