Red stemmed & red leaf spine also.
Hi, I havent mastered the hang of including a photo here! Its usually so easy by clicking on "image" & opening up a file to choose a photo! Consequently I dont post here much.
The banana I just bought from an organic garden day has a red stem & also the grooved spines of the leaves are red also particularly on the outer side of each leaf. The plant is not long separated from Mum & just gone through a mild West Australian winter so the leaves are not as green as I imagine they would be in summer. The plant is in a pot! Hope someone can help with both queries, cheers Barney! |

Re: Red stemmed & red leaf spine also.
You can upload the picture to an external hosting site like Photobucket or Imgur and then post it here, that's what I do. It's easier to upload photos to those sites than onto here. Until we get a picture, we won't know what it is for sure.
