Raw plantain!!!
I jumped for joy it was soooo good. My friend got some over ripe plantains. They were orangish inside and the flavor was superb. I have really been missing out.

Re: Raw plantain!!!
The local Asian supermarket bags up over-ripened plantains and sells them for $1/bag (about 8 per bag). I wait until the skin is blackish outside and then cut them up and freeze them for shakes.
