Yes, it is a bit too quiet lately.
Only few of "argue" threads are more than active last days but generaly there is not much fun.
Hope that spring will get us some better mood

BTW, almonds are flowering arround

John,

I know what you mean: some days there isn't a new post or reply for half a day. I guess too many people put their plants in the basement and forget about bananas for 4-5 months in the winter.

I go outside and look at my poor pitiful yard and come back in, get on my favorite website (you know which one) have my coffee and pray for warmer weather. It won't be long, everyone will be posting photos of new growth, and enjoying the sun. It seems that this is the longest time to wait.

Cold and tired of spidermites. My wife and I had a bit of a doozy last week. We have been trying to get back to Florida for about 7 months now. We are currently in Iowa. I had been networking with some possible employers for several months, basically keeping them interested if our house would sell. We accepted an offer on our house from a buyer that was preapproved per US Bank. We signed the purchase agreement and moved forward with the inspection, FHA appraisal and tendered our resignations at work. Less then two weeks before closing the buyer informs us that their financing has fallen through. Lender said it was out of his control. Anyways, we both asked for our jobs back for the time being. Very embarrassing having to tell two prospective employers that we won't be moving and to cancel our housing lease application.

Luckily our employers will let us continue to work, but they have both started the recruiting process and once a canidate is found we will be let go.

Hiya Re: Question?

Hi John... long time no talk! I havent been able to get on much lately and not due to lack of interest. I've been dealing with some health( not me) and other family issues and have been reluctant to post much since the whole "Reminder about offensive posts" thing that still some here have not been willing to let go of. It's changed the nature of the .org quite a bit from the past. Springs coming though and things are sure to change for the better. Hope to see you soon, and check out some of your plants! Maybe get out your way and do some fishing ( hope that wasnt offensive to anyone)
