pups question
My Ice Cream that has been planted 2 months ago (before planting it was in a pot for 5-6 months), it has now 2 little pups. Height of pstem now is 60-70cm (~ 2ft). Is pupping at this age/height normal ? I also want to know if pup generation indicates any signs of plant health/fruiting status.
Also my Manzano that was planted 1 month ago (pstem is 1ft), is making a pup too. I'm going to put some photos soon with my bananas in before/after style (when I have time between Mundial matches..) |
Re: pups question
Probably not a problem. If there is a problem with the original plant, you have pups to take its' place. Sometimes, if a plant has been stressed, or been in a pot for a long time, it doesn't thrive after planting, and is soon surpassed by a pup. That is not a real problem, as I said. You have the pups, so you haven't lost anything, except maybe a little time. I have seen it 2-3% of the time.
