![]() Pup removal!
Fall is here in Texas, I have been doing pretty good keeping most of the pups removed. My question is when is it to late in the year to remove them. Their quite small at this point and I usually dont seperate until their at least 1ft but Blue Java have at least another 5 pups that have come up. Keep it mind I have 3 in the mat besides the mother plant and the shortest is 6ft now. I have been trying to keep all others removed. Should i leave the new babies alone?? Happy growing, Darla

![]() I would leave alone. Just cover with a thick layer of straw. ... On my Blue Java, pups that small don't have roots yet and wouldn't likely survive if removed.
