Default Pseudostem rot?

My banana has some pseudostem issue.
Apparently it sat pretty happy during all the winter but about a month ago some kind of rotting tissue has taken place in the pseudostem and i don't know how to solve this issue. I fear that, if i won't do something, I will eventually lose the pseudostem and 'ill lose last year growth. I've already treated with tebuconazole but apparently it hasn't stopped. Also i have removed the most infect layer, but i can't continue this process indefinitively! What i should do?
The plant is a pretty warm enviroment (even if it isn't "hot" as i have seen banana like, let's say it experiences 25C on day and 10C on night).

Picture for clarification:

I would stop watering for a week. Add only one cup of water weekly after that. Having a clay pot is good too. Looks like it will be fine with a good drying up. Let us know how it looks in a month.

This happened to a Siam ruby I had a few years back, except higher up. I eventually had to wack it back to this point and then it slowly declined and died after this. I think this loss was mostly due to the fact that SRs really dont like being inside in winter with low light and humidity. I think yours should be ok, doesn't look too bad, but I just thought I would share my experience with you. Its the only banana I've ever killed.

Thank you guys, I'll try to give it all the warmth i can. Usually during summer that kind of rot take care of itself, and I don't get worried but this one doesn't seem to stop. I'll try to hold my waterings too. I suppose I'll have to bite my fingers, since I was willing to push this plant as much as possible, in the hope of having it to bring fruit this year (Dan you should recognize this one ).
