Unhappy Propping up a fruiting banana tree

hi

Does anyone know how to make a prop to support a heavy-fruiting banana stem? My cavendish is starting to lean

I made mine the exact same way. I glued the pieces together using pvc glue and used a cheap length of structural pine instead of a length of pvc pipe as a support as it was cheaper and seems strong enough.

In NSW, they use one stake with a horse shoe attached to the top. Not sure how they make it though

Much stronger and cheaper than using PVC.

Will easily support 400 kg bunches.
