frost took out all the leaves on mine when it did not bother most of the other ones. she shielded her pup good so far

Thanks Beam. Glad to hear your pups are ok. We have been waiting on this for 2 seasons. These are the pups that survived after the hurricane took out my trees that were ready to bloom last year!

my praying hands just threw out a flag leaf.

its her 3rd summer, survived 2 winters. but she is only at 9 ft., like everything else I have flowering its at half its heighth. gotta love winters makes dwarves of them all if it doesn't kill them.

My Praying Hands flowered recently with 5 or 6 good hands. Besides the fruit, this is one of the best looking plants IMHO. It's upright growth, huge sturdy leaves, and unique fruit make it a winner.
