Default Planted corm

Hi i have planted my banana corm in well draining mix and watererd it in well now should I check on it in a couple of weeks just by removing a little soil from corm to see it not rotting or wether it got its little roots appearing or should i just leave well alone and wait to see what happens

You can check on them. Once it warms up though, the plants really get to growing quickly.
