all the time..i just use the cheap one from home depot..for me a little dryer is better than to wet,especially this time of year..lot of plants more pron to rot, so i find it useful.especially down at the bottom..might be dry on top but really wet underneath..and come summer for my bananas..i might look moist on top but dryer ferther down..thats why it is important to water bananas in the ground slow and deep every once and a while..a good deep soaking to get all of the good stuff down where the roots are..

I was also using one but someone told me if you hit the roots it will give you a false reading.. Be careful to not over water

I just bought a MM at my HD .
The plant list has no readings for Musa / Banana Plants .
What Level # am i looking for for potted Bananas & Field Bananas ?
