:basketballnaner: GOOD luck with that Dan! With all the talk and articles about global warming......You might find yourself sheltering your nannas like some of the other lower 43 or so states!

For some reason that makes me giggle!!!!:2725:

Dont get offended..........I Love oranges, lemons, fruits. etc.......
Just made me giggle.............................:2726:

Stubby little flowers supposed to turn into golf ball shaped fruit. Can practice your putting - and eat your game too!!!

Dan, do have a final photo of your pitogo's fruit?

The cold did a thorough job. Ninety percent of the flowers fell off in 2 weeks, and the 12 or so fruit that made it were severly dwarfed and turned black. A big wind broke the stalk at emergence and I found the miserable racime on the ground. Tossed it and cut down the big p-stem. A good strong pup has taken over and is 7' tall now at emergence. Oh well - lost a year's production. Still had extra pups to share with forum folks.

Wow, sorry to that. I'm sure you would've loved to taste them. It would've been nice to see the photo. When you do get fruit post a photo, I would love to see another photo besides the one that is on all banana websites.

Dan, I had a similar issue with my Belle. Half of the bunch was burnt by the cold, but the rest developed ok and tasted great! Sounds like you'll get another bunch this summer, I'm sure it will fare much better. How is the D. Namwah doing?
