Hello all! I have 8 seedlings [about 5 to 6 inches tall] of pink passion Bananas. However as of now they look nothing like a Banana plant. Its this a true Banana plant?
Thanks! Steve |

Sounds like it could be a new trade name for Musa velutina, a true banana. Can you post a picture? In what ways do they not look like banana plants? Have you seen other banana seedlings, do they not look alike?

Yup. All those Pink Banana Passion fruits on eBay are Passifloras, not Musa. Some pink, some not, but all with banana shaped fruits(according to the ad.)
