Hi Everyone here are some Pics of my Home Banana Crop

Dwarf red Dacca and Gold finger Then Dwarf red dacca then Vallery then dwarf red dacca then Pisang Celang Then Cavendish Not All Visible In Photo All Been in Ground 8 months aprox.



Dwarf Red dacca first 2 and then all Dwarf Cavendish Been in The GFround at least 7 Months

Nice bananas! You seem to be fond of Dwarf Red Daccas lol. Why are the bananas in the second photo so much shorter than those in the first when they're only a month apart? Does the site of the first's photos bananas get more sun or something?

The Small ones at front of shed are mainly dwarf cavendish You can only see a leaf of first red dacca in last pic and first full one in pic Is my first successfull transplant of a sucker also dwarf red dacca yes a lot slower than the dwarf red dacca and I think they get more sun than behind the shed.

You will see first full one in Pic my trailing of seweed as mulch.

Cool; when you dwarf cavendish do you mean Dwarf Cavendish or Super Dwarf Cavendish? If they're dwarf cavendish then they're awful small

And I see the red dacca leave; congratulations on transplanting a sucker successfully, it's a good feeling

It's odd that they get more sun than the ones behind the shed yet the behind shed ones are bigger. Were the behind shed suckers that you started with way taller/older than the suckers of the front shed ones or something?

And I see the seaweed one Is it younger than the other bananas in the row? It doesn't have as much leaves. How long has it been in seaweed, and have you noticed any difference?

Its great to see your bananas going so well that far south, the ones behind the shred look great.

I'd love to visit next time I travel down the south coast.

Hopefully you will get fruit if them in a couple of summers time.

Normal Dwarf Cavendish I think heat may be the problem but my normal cavendish/williams grows a lot slower than the other varietys as well.

The heat issue might be that the ones behind the shed probably get radiated heat from being surrounded by colorbond shed 1 side fence the other making it almost a micro climate below fence line.

Seaweed Trial it is only early days but since putting seaweed have noticed some leaves having holes in them so I will wait and see but it looks like seweed untreated may kill them or it may not be related time will tell will wait for new leaves to come and see then.
