![]() I have two large Ensete Maurelii, one in 13 feet tall. I seem to remember pictures of someone digging them up letting them dry for 3 days and then putting them in a cool dry place. Can anyone confrim or add to this?
Thanks in advance Topher |

![]() Topher,
I take mine, dig em up, chop the leaves, wash off the roots, let em dry for a few days, and put em under my house. ![]()

![]() Gentlemen,
I just found the link I was looking for http://forums.gardenweb.com/forums/l...127243788.html I think that leaving the leaves on may help over the winter. Any thoughts? |

![]() Hey!!!
I have done the same as Natedog... They go under the house.. Temps stay 54*~56* yr round.. The only problem I had was the additional growth was blanched and had to be cut back.. but didn't have an adverse effect on the plant.. it is big and beautiful . The others that wintered over under the house really didn't put on much growth at all...Best of Luck!!! Kylie |
