Re: ''Orinoco'' and ''Dwarf Orinoco'' mature height
Thank you very much for your replys!
That is one of the best Orinoco pictures and plants I have seen Mike!!! Wonderfull plant! Most Orinoco mats I see are just too tight to be beautyfull... Thanks for the clarification Gabe! Do you maybe know why the attachment point of the bananas in my previous photos, are getting brownish/black? It seems like they are getting ready to be aborted and desiccated. Why is this happening? Thank you very much in advance!

Re: ''Orinoco'' and ''Dwarf Orinoco'' mature height
A couple new and better lit photos to see what I am asking about.
As you can see, some of the top bananas have already turned completely black and shrunken. What is causing that? I recall that I have only seen this mat successfully mature a banana bunch only once while I have seen it flower and carry small(that size or smaller) many times and I think they were having the same fate as those here...But it did mature a bunch once! This seems like a really nice pseudostem, unlike the others I have seen flower but not mature bananas before so I was expecting this bunch to mature well... Thank you very much in advance!
