Organic insecticide and its influence to banana fruits
 

There is a banana pseudostem on which there are very small holes from where
transparent jelied liquids come out. I suspect this is casued by some insects
like banana weevil, and I doubt the soil is eventually contaminated.

In case that the insects are exterminated by spraying both on the plant and
the soil, what will be the influence to banana fruits as the fruits will suck remaining
elements of the insecticide.

Uptake of insecticides by plants varies greatly. Obviously systemics are to be avoided. For the weevils, you could be worry-free treating with either
* boric acid, available as Borax powder
OR
* Spinosad, a bacteria which will eat the eggs and grubs of the weevils and kill a few adults as well.

By "organic" I'm assuming you desire a non-synthetic insecticide. This is problematic because many insecticides labeled "organic" are actually synthesized from petro-chemicals, including pyrethrins. It's true that pyrethrins are naturally found in plants, but rarely does a manufacturer take the expensive route of extracting them from a plant material.

I like to recommend Cyfluthrin, the only active ingredient in the Bayer product "PowerForce Insecticide". This is a synthesized pyrethrin compound which is more effective on some hardy insects, such as ants.

Good morning, while pesticides are the norm and have been used for more than 60 years today the adult insect and the eggs are becoming more resistant you should try using an alternative to chemicals like PCO Choice a Cedar Oil formulation which not only kills the adult insects including mites but fungus's as well.
