Default Oh no Winter's coming...

...Just read in the paper nightime temps. of -10C due for England and It's not even December yet.

A real tester for the undersoil heating system, might have to accept that I'll lose some foliage.

They also reckon the long term forecast is for yet another coldy winter. I had a nasty feeling that the volcano in Iceland coupled with where we are in the sunspot cycle would mean we were in for it.

Better 'hunker down' as the colonials would say :-)

There are many more factors that alter the climate in your area even more, but the long time record shows that every Iceland volcano eruption means a very hot summer and a very cold winter in the UK.
It should be similar for a good part of Europe as well... and that's what puzzles me. A record warm November? WTH?
