![]() This year I've been having several curled cigar leaves. They don't open up properly which causes a traffic jam for the next leaf. Any idea what's causing this ?

![]() That's exactly what 2 of my newer pups are doing. However I only do compost / manure in a big hole for my newcomers. Plants need to be up to my nipple before I "roid" them out

![]() Sometimes even compost and/or manure will cause the problem. I have planted a pup right next to my horses stall and nothing else but horse manure goes watered in around it. Endless supply right next to the plant is very attempting, so that is why it happened to me. Just skip a week or two, your plant will grow out of it.

![]() I uncurl by hand. I use 6-3-16 and curling happens sometimes. Good stuff for sugar sand soil. Stiff winds now and then uncurl well when tall naners are near fruiting height.

![]() It's normally just fast growth exacerbated by a myriad of other causes.
Here rain causes fast growth and when wind flexes the petiole canal, the roller pops out before it's ready. Easiest solution, cut off the tip early. This has added benefits in the tropics because it delays the onset of sigatoka
