OK, Harvey. I'll cross your name off from when you asked me before, and then add your name today. LOL. You are already! I wonder who's older, you or me? OK, I am, so I'm going to have to be more indulgent.

Well, when I asked before you never told me you put my name on the list....made me thing I needed to beg or something!

I'll trade you a Senorita pup for a folder of a kid in Nicaragua that still needs a sponsor. Whole lot of love, can't ask for a better deal than that!

You're all heart, Harvey! Thanks. I wish that I could, but I have in-laws in similar straights to support back home.

I'm easy, you know. Or did you want me to swear on a stack of Bibles? I put you on the list when asked early this year. Or, was that for the VC?????? Hmmmm. Anyway, Austin asked me last year, during my weak moment (ha! ha!) when I was lamenting the fact that I'd been passed over by GB on my VC order.

Kidding aside, I did note it down after we talked about my problems with getting plants shipped from Asia.

Does Scot plan to do some work on bananas in China?
the Vc cultures were doing well for a wail but after they budded they just kinda sat there then some became contaminated I'm not sure beyond that i i know there was a point were Scots AC in his lab malfunctioned that did a number on a bunch of things thats all to the best of my recollection there where many experiments going on is his Lab and it was a bit disorganized to me so i could be sketchy on some of the details

I didn't realize that you were his donor. Thank you for that and sorry, that it ended up that way.

Not to worry, you still are on my Señorita list, though. And they are the short form, too!
Oh no! I was afraid there would be some bad news, but not this bad! Scot's and my goal was to get V. Cohol TC'd so that we could have more folks in the ORG try it out in their own gardens. I was really hopeful for a successful TC so that everyone could get one at a reasonable cost! I really hate that it didn't work out. **Insert crying banana here--couldn't find one** It kind of makes me want to try V.C. again (crazy, I know!) to see if I can overwinter it successfully storing it in warmer temps or find a way to get it through successfully so that others may grow this awesome fruiting banana in our zones.

Now on a more cheery topic...Thanks for keeping the Señorita list! What perfect timing on my part. Hehehehe! I'm glad that you are so willing to share your plants with us. Do we know how it fares during the winter? If it's similar to V.C., I must devise a new method of winter storage. I love those little, plump bananas both V.C. and Señorita produce. Maybe some day I will be munching on my homegrown bananas. Four years and no bananas just ain't right!!!
