Just one question. How did you store your seeds? In Tupperware in the fridge with rice?

Also is the Goldfinger still available?

They were stored in the refrigerator for the first several months, inside of paper or plastic bags. Lately, they have not been refrigerated, but stored in a cool, dry spot inside of the house. (My landlord/roommate did not want them taking up space in the fridge.)

Some are still in the original foil packs and paper packs. Hope this answers your question.

I will have to let you know on the Goldfinger. Right now, I am swamped and need a few days to get a handle on things. I should know tomorrow, but in the event it is available, it looks like everyone is just putting their bids on this thread, so I would say that's the best thing to do until I can confirm its availability. Sorry I can't be more definite at the moment. Thanks!

We're just getting started, Jack. Besides, the auction ends on Sunday which happens to be my birthday so I was going to let Bob have the chance to surprise me!

Hi Scot

you take care over there. try and teach them some correct spellings/grammar and not the 'colonial' forms you lot use

They'll all of been watching CSI, so if you tell them you've arrived from Henderson they'll undoubtedly back off.

I take it your following your heart which is always the best way

Find us a nice new nana species or two. or better still get down to Xishuangbanna and sort them out, there's got to be an export business there if they could get their S..t together

regards good luck and keep in touch

Kev

Bid $75 for the seeds. I can't spend too much money....I think my cell phone just went swimming in the alfalfa field. I have insurance on it for situations like that, but I think my co-pay is still something like $150. I need to go out there and try calling myself...wish me luck. (I was probably taking the life of a vole with my shovel when I lost it.)

No luck, it's dead. I dialed it and it rang the first time and after that it must have shorted out and now my call goes directly to voice mail. At least I have insurance, it would probably cost me $500 otherwise.

Tog would have lost his in the jungle, except I don't think he'd take one out to begin with. I had two business calls within an hour before I lost it. One to get terms on an agreement to get some trees cut on the levee on my farm and another to get a federal trapper out to shoot some coyotes that keep ripping up my irrigation lines. Hard to operate without a mobile phone these days. My co-pay ended up being $100, new one is on the way.

Dunno. Nope, I couldn't practically use those seeds for anything. I'm a Dfa zone, meaning wet periods year round (unlike Scot), severe winters (unlike Scot)... that would be a waste of shipping, cause I'm pretty sure that none of those would be able to survive my climate.
