Default no pups yet..hmmm

I have this what I think is a manzano. 2 years old no pups. It has been fertilized most of the summer and repotted in Aug. Anyone have an experience like this? I was so wanting to get pups from this one.

Why was it chopped back in the middle of its growing season? Was there damage to the plant??? .... Otherwise, I would think that only delays corm & plant development while energy is expended to regrow pstem & leaves.

I came out one morning early June(thin stem) and the top had been snapped. if I remember correctly it was a storm we had and was just too exposed.

Some varieties pup only near flowering time. Other than tat, pupping is fairly dependent on sufficient nutrition, meaning add fertilizer.

dont fertilize heavy now heading into the colder
less vigorous growing season though.

more nitrogen apparently can induce pupping
i use fish emulsion
