![]() Hello everyone,
I join the forum few minute ago... I am new to gardening and banana. Few month ago I bought 2 fruit trees from a internet nursery and they had a dwarf banana who makes edible fruits ,they said. I was tempted and I bought it, was just a few dollars. I did not pay attention to the name. Recently I started to be more interested in different other plants and banana trees. I would like to know what kind of banana i have. The place where I bought it do not have it anymore and I cannot check. Please look at the picture in my gallery . The plant has green and purple leaves with the back of the leaves green. Can somebody help? Thanks |

![]() It looks like Dwarf Cavendish to me too, but still it's a long shot. Try to grow it, feed it... for the next 2 or 3 years and when it rewards you with bloom, post pix here for better ID. I would say about 80% sure.
