Default New Species of Banana

Dear All

I am Dr Rajib Gogoi from India, working in Arunachal Pradesh. Recently I discovered two wild banana, one named after Markku Hakkinen (Musa markkui, published in Garden Bulletin Singapore) another in my Late mother's name Late Puspanjali Gogoi ( Musa puspanjaliae, published in Nordic J. Botany). In the second species Markku Hakkinen the authority of willd Musa is co-authored me.

Best wishes to all again.

Rajib
