Default New Photos

Hey folks, just came back from lunch break and decided to check on my Musa's. One by one I uncovered my banana plants and found nothing but mushhhh until my final plant, and there it was, (last 3 photos) our first born.... I honestly presumed that it was a failed attempt, now I have hope and a huge smile.

Here are some new photos......

There it is........
Our first with many more to come (hopefully!!!!!)

Not sure of your location, but if I may make a suggestion... Don't give up on the others just yet. Even though the tops of your others look like mush, as you call it, try feeling down below soil level and see if the corm itself is mush, before final determination. Just by looking at your other pics, you may still have pups develop from the others. What looks dead on the surface does not always mean that all is lost!!!! Soil temps play a vital role in plants developing. I know that I have several bananas that don't break dormancy until soil temps rise more. BTW, congrats on the first signs of life!!! Keep us posted...
