Default Is this a new Ensete clone?

In my guess it's just a regular maurelli. Anyone heard of this "Tandarra Red"?

they will come up with all kinds of new names to boost sales, doesn't look like anything special to me.

Erland this plant has been kicking around the uk for a couple of years now with different sellers. Like you and gabe said another name for the same plant. I think its a marketing thing to get you to buy something that you may already have only they add an exotic name and you think ooh thats new I MUST get one.

The only interesting "new" E. ventricosum clone I have seen was one from seeds collected in the wild in South Africa (appearently at the very southern tip of its range). It wasn't that special, but it had interesting thick red bands that ran vertically along the pseudostem. I would have picked one up but only had enough money and room to bring back one plant. This was at XTOX Tropico Nursery by the way, near Beverly Hills I guess.
