Default New additions to the garden this season!

Hey guys! I've recently begun my Musa journey and just wanted to make a bit of a record of the varieties I have! Much love to everyone who has helped me out.

Here we go!

First off is Patupi! I've heard this accession hailing from PNG has a really great flavor and that is what I'm growing it for. It got a bit of cold damage as it was left outside for most of our mild winter, which now seems to be over! haha, 90 degrees last saturday! I adore the scarlet coloring on this one.

Here is FHIA-03 "Sweetheart"
A little slow to start but now is taking off!

Here is Mysore "Pisang Ceylon"
Excited about this one, I have a couple im gonna plant on the backside of my house, banking on them being tall enough to still get enough light. I love the pinkish color of the underside of the leaves!

FHIA-18 "Bonanza"

FHIA-17
Love seeing the flared petioles, which i believe is expected for "Gros michel" types.

FHIA-01 "Goldfinger" (From agristarts)
Lots of color on this one, from a tc. planting it at my local community garden, as I figured the other FHIA pome hybrids I'm getting will have a similar enough flavor that I wont be missing anything.

"Yangambi km-5"
This is a sneak peak at one of my TC's, really excited about this one based off of some reading i did about its' resistances to sigatoka and root-not nematodes, which are pretty prevalent here in South Florida. Not sure about the production, but hopefully it tastes good! anyone with experiences with this variety, let me know.

All of these will be going in the ground in the next few months! More varieties to come too!

Super photos! Nice collection of plants. Everybody looks healthy. Jealous of the Patupi and FHIA 01 Goldfinger. I would like to see both of those in my patch.

What can you tell me about Yangambi km-5? Don't see much info out there.
Thank you

Well, this has been a long time coming but here I am with an UPDATE on my banana collection.
I'm currently at about 12 varieties, being very selective based on the space I have available...
Anyways, I don't feel like going through the painful experience that is uploading photos on this site, so here's an imgur link.
Very excited for the first fruits from these...
