Default Need Minerals?

2 Lbs of Azomite - Organic Trace Mineral Soil Additive Fertilizer - 67 Trace Minerals: Selenium, Vanadium, Chromium by Handy Pantry
COPY THE ABOVE AND PASTE INTO AMAZON.COM-(IF INTERESTED)
------------------------------------------------------------
This is for anyone who might want to take that extra step to help ensure the health of your plant. Personally i try to give my plants everything they might need to try to keep them healthy to survive are nasty winter. I hit them with this once a month cause it don't say how often to use it, so maybe someone can let me know. Anyway i just mix it with water and pour it on, or you can just mix it in with your reg. fert. and add it to the dirt.(if your fert. doesn't already have it.) It's 7.00 bucks + shipping for a 2lb bag! (they recommend 1lb per 10 sq. ft.of soil)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Product Description
A to Z Minerals- A Complete Organic Fertilizer A Source of Minerals & Trace Elements Azomite is the name of a special rock in Utah. Early this century geological prospector Rollin Anderson found deposits of montmorillonite clay in a valley south of Salt Lake City. U.S. Bureau of Mines analysis showed the clay is similar to Chilean/Peruvian caliche rocks from which much of the world's nitrate was mined. Anderson ground montmorillonite as fine as possible, then put it in his garden. Results were amazing and nearly immediate. Minerals in Azomite are necessary to optimal metabolism in living things. Ground to dust, minerals are small enough to pass through cell walls of organisms.

We use sea salt, it contains almost all of the minerals and also helps the plants to gtow somewhat better. Many say they wouldn't put salt in their gatden, don't see why, they put it on their food. Percentage is the answer, too much tastes bad.

I'm thinking that i read somewhere that one should deep water their plants to help get rid of salt build up on the roots. And also when buying a plant/tree some descriptions will say whether the plant/tree is salt tolerant or not for planting along a street, so it must not be a good thing.

I like to use greensand. It is natural, organic, and about $20 for 50 lb. I'd be curious to see if there are any minerals that Azomite has that Greensand doesn't.

I have been using Azomite for about 3 years now. So far I have had great luck with the stuff. Seem to last for ever, I use WAY less then what is recommend and still have to have great response from my plants. I apply about 1 cup per plant every 3 - 4 months. I have the powder form so I just sprinkle around the surface and water in.
