Default Need "Bunch" advice

I have a Ice Cream bunch that is 2 months old now. The temps are starting to get into the low 40's and possible upper 30's. When should I cut the bunch and hang it in the garage. Or has the fruit not matured enough to ripen. Thanks for all the help. Oh yea I'm in zone 6.5 to 7 if it helps.

IMO, cut the fruit before the first frost.
In my experience, often the fruit will ripen after the normal ripening time anyway...even if it is undersized.

Hey Stump , I'm in the same boat as you with the Ice cream bunch. I'm hoping to make it last on the plant till about Halloween with a little extra protection with the bunch bagged and a plastic tent over the plant . Let us know how you do.. we can compare notes

Bob, I cut it off today and it is hanging in the garage. The temps are supposed to drop tonight and I didn't want to risk them. I wrapped them in plastic ( Saran Wrap ) and hung them from the rafters. Good luck on yours.
