Red face Naners in East coast va

Hello everyone! New to banana world. I am trying to get banana to grow in VA. Have had two die in pots and 1 survivor. Have just put it out side about 2 ft tall.
Looks like maybe sun burn on a leaf . Any way could some one guide me on what would grow in pots or outside preferred.
Thanks
