Re: Namwa banana plant growth has stalled
Try going to Walmart and getting the manure with compost (In a white and yellow bag, .5-.5-.5 ... If you hate Walmart, go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy the black cow in the all yellow bag, but it is much more expensive. ) and put half a bag around your plant and water it in good. Compost and manure has some of everything your plants need, so then there is no deficiency. Use the other stuff as amendments to the natural way, if you feel you must. (Sure, homade compost with lots of fruit scraps is best, but we don't have time for that.)

Re: Namwa banana plant growth has stalled
I removed the banana plant from the hole and found many dead roots with some new roots growing but no sign of banana corm weevil infestation. I replanted with another healthy Namwah plant and will be interesting to see how it performs. I might have a problem with the soil in the planting hole maybe too much potassium . The other banana plants though are very healthy and growing fast.
