I'm growing both, but will have to take Jarred's word on the fruit. Mine both rotted to corm level over the last winter, but tossed up 4 pups apiece. I like the looks of them both, but the Mysore looks more majestic with all the red.
Around my house, if I see em in the store, I have to make a quick choice. They are few and far between...and gone in an instant...

Mysore is more open-air, not such a dense "crown" as the Goldfinger.
I have old pics of both in my gallery. Mine are actually planted side by side, not for any reason though, just by chance. I remember Mysore having moderately thin peels so keep that in mind when it gets close to ripening time, they can spoil somewhat fast. Goldfinger has a good thick peel though. If you need to pick one, go with Mysore for now and give that a whirl.
Did you like the flavor of Williams, did you get that to bloom yet? |

Mysore is skinny and prone to breaking and folding. Fruit are very tasty but small. Takes longer to fruit. Goldfinger is stouter, no propping necessary, larger fruit which are quite tasty. I would choose the GF, if you are only getting one, as it is more productive.

do you have an outside kitty? they will take care of your gopher problems, the animal shelter nearest you probably has at least one psyco cat that loves to eat raw meat, and that desperatly needs a home.
