Re: My Viente Cohol :)
When did you plant it? Was it a TC or pup?
I am thinking of trying a single season fruiting here in 8b. |

When it fruits, definitely let us know how flavor goes if you get a chance to find out. I'm very excited about this variety, but a bit afraid too as the only personal review I've seen marks it as disappointing and bland.

Re: My Viente Cohol :)
Thanks Tony. I was reading the Georgia study and that they wanted 12 weeks in a green house with a new TC then plant as the last expected frost, then harvest in October.
If I can get some TC in January, I am going to try potting then planting March 15th to see If I can fruit the same year. |

Re: My Viente Cohol :)
The GA studies ranged from an average of 8 pounds with highs around 15 pounds.

This is really interesting. Sould show a good record of time from flag to fruit.
Thanks Tony for posting the thread. Randy |
