I got this in '06 when it was about 1 inch high. Don't know if it was a pup or tc. The girl that sent it wasn't sure at time if it was T Tiny or Lil Prince, but I think it's TT.
It's now 9 inches high ![]() The base is bulging..it is splitting there on both sides- maybe a flower? ![]() It's healthy, but isn't it too small for 3 yrs old? It's been potted up 2-3 months ago. I thought I read that they get 2 or more ft high. Is this true? Anyone had one flower yet? Thanks I'd put it inground but afraid someone will step on it LOL.

I do not have this type, but the splitting like that is normal. I see it happen to my Kru, Dwarf Red, and Praying hands. I think the base just gets bigger then the oldest leaf and it will start to split and then fall. When I seen this happen I just pull off the leaf that has split.

No, not a flower. Truly tiny get fairly large, actually. About 2-3 foot, possibly more. Yours is just growing normally, as the leaves get larger, the plant's stem will swell, tearing the older leaf sheathes.
Bad news that it isn't a flower should be offset by hearing it's growing normally!

Normal. As the plant grows, the corm gets larger (wider), splitting the older leaf petioles.
