My sicilian updates thread!
After 3 years on bananas.org i post here my uptades, and i will write here my next uptades from my land!
I started in 2010 with a few little plant of Comune di sicilia (maybe Orinoco). Now i have many cultivar of banana, many of wich are growed outdoor without any protection. 1000 finger (October 2013):  Goldfinger (January 2014):  Same Goldfinger in may 2013 after transplanting  Comune di Sicilia on the left and Rajapuri (november 2013)  same plant on February 2014  Ice Cream on the top and Goldfinger in the background (November 2013)  Big Comune di Sicilia ready to flower (February 2014)  same plant in may  Double Mahoi in cold greenhouse  A Group of comune di sicilia planted in spring 2013  same group in october  Dwarf Namwah, Dwarf Brazilian and Praying hand ready to spring 2014!  Banana killer (up to 10 bananas killed!)  |

Bravo. I enjoyed the pictures. I didnt realize there was a banana that was common in sicily. Do you cook with it or just it it ripe?
