That doesn't look like a Red Kru, Michael.

I just thought I would post a pic of mine too since everyone else is.

Thanks for the news flash! I read that banana plants don't need much water in the winter. If it's too tall in October maybe you could lean the pot a little and gently rest the plant against a soft blanket. Best of luck on the March flower!

Wow, dude! That's some incredible growth for only 2 weeks! I wish my dwarf Cavendish pup would grow that fast. Btw, congrats on your second Red Kru banana pup!

I always forget how big Ontario is, with Windsor and Toronto in the same province.

Thanks for the encouragement! The biggest pup is making a new leaf now and my Zebrina[?] banana plants are finally starting to grow. Btw, I used "Zebrina[?]" since someone said they look more like Ensetes. I don't mind since they are still red!
I hope you do get a big mat of Kru banana plants! They are definitely the best looking red banana plant I've seen so far. I'll be watching for photos!

I have to say, it is looking more and more like my unknown red is a kru. I have had at least 6 pups. I am surprised at how many are growing them considering how cold sensitive they are.

I got it from Tony. It was from his plants. Yes the leaves are getting bigger in the past few weeks.

Just an update, hight - 6'6 to the tip of the leaf.

Thinking of potting it up soon so it doesn't to through too much shock when cool weather approaches.
