Default My first blossom: will I get fruit??

I'm so excited! My banana plant, Rajapura, is only a year old, but it has started a blossom!! I'm in north central Florida; will it have time to fruit before winter???

My Raja takes a little over 4 months from that stage to fruit starting to turn yellow and that is in warm S FL. Not sure how it will take your colder weather. Gabe or someone probably can answer that.

Just build a makeshift greenhouse from pvc pipe (no glue) and plastic drop cloths when the weather gets cold, and put a lightbulb inside to add warmth at night.
