My first banana plants with photo
So here are the 4 dwarf Brazilian plants I received in the mail 3 days ago. They are TC's that I potted into 1 gallon pots. They haven't died yet but are looking a little haggard. I realize some of this can be attributed to being shipped cross country and then being potted. Here's a few questions for you experienced growers:
Do these looked "normal" for their situation? How much sun should I be giving them and when can they transition to full sun? My temps during the day are in the high 80's to low 90's. Overnight temps in the 50's. Any other tips to help my youngsters grow is greatly appreciated. Thanks. ![]() Camp |

They look alright. It takes then awhile to come out of travel shock. I'd give them 3-4 hours of morning sun, then gradually ramp up.

they look a bit on the wet side but as long as you let them dry out between watering they should be fine.
