hey luisport!

one of the paw paws i planted near kirkland lake ontario survived the winter!
and some of the others i thought had died are sprouting near the base
low odds of getting fruit up there but amazing that it is surviving

Thanks! I'm on 9b area. On summer we get +40c for some days and very dry, on winter usualy very cold and frost for 3 months - 3c on coldest years.

LOL! No my friend, it's dead! As i sayed on other post i killed some good banana plants (and other tropicals) because i made a lot of mistakes. I choosed the places to plant them very badly... too exposed to cold weather.
I got very bad luck too because when i plant them i got an extreme record cold winter of -6,5C! I never ever thought i could have this temperatures here... for example last winter i never got temp below 0C.
