Is my banana plant sick?

I have a 5 foot high, tropical banana plant inside my home near a thermal window this cold Minnesota winter. A few small powdery white spots have appeared on the pseudostem here and there as well as on the dry outer layers of the pseudo stem.

I have peeled the dry layers down and cut them off. I'd greatly appeciate an informed take on what's happening and learning what I might do about it.

Sincerely
Chamba Jeff

You might have a few mealy bugs.
They are somewhat easy to control.
A photo or a website that has a similar photo as a reference can confirm your issue.
Good luck.
