I've had an Indian Hill in my patch for over 12 months and its the weakest plant in my collection but I started with a TC so maybe that's normal. The original TC put out a pup this year and its growth rate is not impressive either compared to other stuff in my patch.

You are starting with a good size pup vs. a TC so you should get better results. Looking forward to the updates on this one's development and when it fruits.

Dwarf namwa is a FATTY.. almost 10 inch diameter at 6 ft. crown height here. that's why it's quickly becoming a favorite, so low and strong but with the great namwa banana's.

the fhia-03 isn't crazy skinny either, fruiting at 7 ft crown height they are 8-9 inch diameter from what I recall.

I prop almost any bunch that I can, the dwarf namwa will never need a prop though. I grow a smaller bamboo variety that is perfect for making X shape props from quickly and easily
