It is when you soak a new corm for 10 minutes in a 3:1 or a 4:1 solution of bleach (three or four parts water, ono part bleach) hope this helps!

Update! October 10, 2020:

Pisang Ceylon:

Sweetheart will fruit next year no doubts!

ALso, I planted the Virupakshi!

Praying Hands doing great! Pumpkin strategy paying off in the end! Lol

Raja puri should fruit soon!

I am extremely sad to report the death of my last variegated Ae Ae. However, my green one is making up by putting out the most variegated leaf so far!

All new varieties (SH 3640, FHIA-2 Mona Lisa, and PR Morado have new roots growing. Will post update when they start growing.

I heard that is supposed to be arguably one of the most delicious bananas.
Where'd you get it?

I forgot where it was a while back
Do you know if Morado is the same as the PR Red? Or are they separate varieties?

PR Morado is PR Red
I think there is only a few reds out there, some with very minimal differences. PR Morado and Tall Red are very similar and the Tall Red fruits are absolutely delicious!!

Time for an update!

First, my Ae Ae put out a nice variegated leaf! The most variegated so far!

My newly planted (Yesterday) Virupakshi has not stopped, completely put out the new leaf! She likes the five gallon bucket of rotten fish I gave her!

Tall Namwa bunches maturing nicely!

I am very excited to announce the birth of a new tall Namwa bud! This is a BAD boy make no mistake!

Check her out! Will make a zinger for sure!

Dwarf Namwa growing at a very fast rate! Will fruit next spring for sure!

That’s all I have to report today! Thanks for looking!

Well well! Virupakshi is ALREADY PUTTING OUT THE NEW LEAF! Amazing!

This isn’t what she looked like on the 11th (Sunday I think )

This is her on the 15th (Thursday) Incredibly!

New bunch keeps coming out:

This is the trunk:

A new stripe just appeared on the Ae Ae leaf-weird:

Good news!

Mona Lisa growing!

Puerto Rican (PR) Morado pushed a leaf then stopped. I was confused till I saw that little white kinked leaf.....

Did surgery and the leaf popped out.

Still clogged.....

Pulled out all the leaves and got this! That pic was several hours ago and is already pushing.

SH 3640 not doing too much... should bust out soon.

Praying hands putting out big, bad boy leaves!

Update!

Turns our I didn’t fix the PR Morado yesterday! Still clogged. Like a newly planted queen palm...... fronds tied together to make a ponytail sticking straight up.

I peeled and noticed this..... and was like, aha! Looks really cool.

I peeled off that pink sheath, leaving the green one.....

And got this! It was held together in the stalk. Only the tips of those leaves were visible before I peeled!

Hard to believe this.....

Turned into this in five minutes! Squid pup

I was puzzled by the 3640...... lots of roots and no growth. So I peeled, and found a choke!

Left to right, Pr Morado, Mona Lisa, and SH 3640!
